My ancestors didn't move to the county until about 1817. 2nd- Between 1895-1900 three in my family were placed in an orphanage from Jasper county and they were placed in Methodist Children's Orphanage in DeKalb County. 3rd- The closest pretty good sized town at that time was probably Milledgeville and it may have had an orphanage.
