Hello everyone, I am fairly new to the Jackson Co. list and thought it was time I did a post. I am looking to connect with anyone who has connections with/info on the TILLISON family in Jackson Co. Our earliest one is James David Tillison, b. SC, July 9, 1848 ~ d. Aug. 27, 1898 (in Jackson Co.?) He married Sarah Susannah HAYES, (father J.T. Hayes?) on February 18, 1869. They had the following children, all born in Jackson Co., I believe: Mary C. V. - b. July 28, 1870 m. J.W. Carroll James I. - b. August 15, 1872 m. Mary G. Mixon John E. - b. Sept. 18, 1878 m. Minnie Wilson William Preston - b. March 8, 1879 m. Fannie Alice Aldredge Roseanna G. - b. August 7, 1881 m. Jessie Barfield Martha E. b. April 22, 1885 m. E.A. Green Benjamin Franklin - b. July 1, 1890 m. Eula Lee Edwards William and Benjamin came to Texas sometime around the turn-of-the-century, after their father died, bringing their mother, Sarah, with them.
