Seeking information on individuals named DICKSON who left Jackson Co., GA in the 1812-1813 period and migrated to the Mississippi Territory or the Florida Parishes of eastern Louisiana. My GGGGG Grandparents, Alexander & Sarah GILLESPIE, seem to have moved in conjunction with the Jackson Co. DICKSONs into Washington Co., GA in 1784 and to Greene & Jackson Co's. subsequently. Alexander & Sarah sold out in Jackson Co. in 1811/1812 and were in St. Tammany Parish, LA by 1813. David DICKSON requested a passport through the Creek Nation for William DICKSON in 1813.
