Thanks Searching for ANY information on Simeon Cooper and Martha Turner, marriage date 10 Feb 1821 in Jackson County. A Simeon Cooper and Martha were living in Warren County by 1822. Records indicate they had two children George W. and James in 1822 -1824. By 1826 Simeon disappeared/died and George and James were listed as orphans and Thomas KENT was Guardian (dockett#119, 19 Sep 1826) in Warren County. A Martha Cooper was enumerated on several Warren and Glascock County census. She was living next door to George W. Cooper on the 1860 Glascock census and listed as 70 yrs old from NC.
