His daughter Elizabeth Jane Dickerson b. 1841 Georgia married in Mississippi and a descendant has a letter she wrote to her brother Robert in Mississippi telling him she had been to see Uncle Newt Blackstock. Her brother lived in Texas and he wrote her asking about "Grandpa Doss's folks." Did Michael Dickerson marry a Doss? I am descended from Mark Doss b. ca 1785 died 1859 Attala Co, Miss. He lived in Jackson Co, Ga before moving to Mississippi after the 1850 census. His daughter Elizabeth Adaline Doss married Newt Blackstock in Georgia, and they came to Attala Co, Miss. with her father and her three brothers.
