Several years ago at the Gwinnett Historical Soc., I saw a series of 6 volumes of books put out by the Georgia Daughters of the Confederacy of 'interment of Confederate Sol.'s' I made paper copies of a few counties of my interest such as Gwinnett, Barrow, Jackson, Hall Co.'s & a few others in south GA & NW GA. My question of any one wh would possibly know. In Jackson Co as an example: ONLY 15 Conferate Sol's are listed & the cem they are interred in - Now I know there has be many more than that? Barrow Co even had more listed as did Gwinnett Co - although many weren't listed. I thought at first perhaps those listed had the Conferate Markers place at their grave but according to the preface of the books - "Many sources were used to gather data" Now as is it is still a good source - But very incomplete - does any one know any thing more? Perhaps some one with the GA Dau's could give more information. Thanks Annette Please Reply To: georgianet@webtv.net "My Main Home Page" http://www.geocities.com/annettega_1999/
