I have a daughter of William S. Whitehead and Elizabeth Pendergrass of Jackson Co, GA, who married my David S Lyle in Jackson Co, GA on 12 November 1871. Her name was Nancy Catherine "Kate" Whitehead. They moved to Wood Co, TX. Another Lyle relative, Elizabeth Jane Hancock married Mark E. Whitehead in Jackson Co, GA.
