    3. Kathy: I don't know much about White Spring (which was in Clarke Co., GA in 1912), except for what I recvd. today from another researcher. I have a .jpg image map of the area of Clarke Co., GA where White Spring Methodist Church was at one time. If you have an image viewer, let me know if you want the map which was graciously provided by Amy Warren Sanders. As for creeks, I see Sandy Creek, Line Creek, Hardemn Creek on the map. WOOD: There was a Mary Wood d.bef 1900 Nicholson, Jackson Co., GA, marr. William (Billy) Tolbert. I don't have Mary Wood's parents or siblings listed. Mary died of t.b. and is buried with Billy and his first wife, Lula Martin. There is no marker on Mary's grave. They are all 3 buried Lloyd Cemetery, Jackson Co., GA. Source: 1900 Jackson Co., GA Census. I have a Frances Ann Wood marr. Barum Bobo b.1776 Union Co., SC. No data on Frances other than marriage to Bobo. They had 11 children. I have Georgia Ann Wood b.1870 Fairburn, GA d.1953 Tyler, TX., dau. of Green Wood and Missouri Ann Venable. Georgia Ann mar. James Andrew Dodd. Their child Marcus Dodd b.29 May 1886 is buried Galilee Christian Church Cemetery, Jackson Co., GA with wife Nora N. They had 6 children. 3. My great-grandmother was Sarah Caroline Carter b.1832 Ga d.1910 Dossville, Leake Co, Miss. (located on the Attala County line). She married George Washington Doss 13 August 1832 (date on CW pension application) but we don't know where but assume Georgia. George W. Doss' father was Mark Doss and lived 1850 Jackson C, Ga. Who were the parents of Sarah Carter? In 1850 Jackson Co, Ga she was with the James J. Harvel (b.1816 wife Jane b.1815) family with an Elizabeth Harvel age 50 in the household. There was an "M.E. Carter age 18 female" in the David McCleskey age 60 family in the Hall Co, Ga. census. Sarah was a "cousin" to the children of David McCleskey's daughter Zemuly McCleskey Guyton who moved to Attala Co, Miss. HOW are they related? Could it be thru David's wife Martha Jarrett McCleskey?

    2. Searching for the William Beall or Bell who died abto.1820, probably in Georgia. He left four orphan boys, Andrew, William, Elijah and James. Only Andrew was made a ward of Aaron Tillmon in Jackson County, Ga. in Court Minutes dtd. Nov. 1821. Andrew was six years of age at the time. Many questions arise. What happened to the boys Mother? Who raised the other three boys? Andrew paid taxes in Upson County, Ga. in 1834 on 40 acres of land in Floyd County. This land was won in a lottery drawing in 1832. The land was sold in 1849 and the deed signed by William, Elijah and James Beall. I am searching of information on these guys and their descendants as well as the parents and siblings of William Beall. Who did William marry. There are several good possibilities. One an Elizabeth Gray, another Lavonia Farrer. Has anyone seen anything in any old newspapers, bibles, or genealogy? I don't believe that William really died in Jackson County.
