Would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me if any record was ever made of the names contained in the old family Bible of Mrs. Lon Dickey of Fitzgerald, GA. Mrs. Dickey was a descendent of Nathaniel Ashley who died in Camden County, GA. When her house burned in somewhere around 1962, among the items lost was the big family Bible which was given to her mother, then to her from her great uncle, William Ashley of Coffee County, GA, along with an old minature of Lady Jane Cooper. IS THERE ANY RECORD OF THOSE NAMES TODAY in existence that were in that old family Bible? If so, where?
