Roberts b. 23 Dec 1854 d. 2 Nov 1896 m. Rebecca Mixon on 29 Apr 1872. She was b. 16 Jul 1853 d. 8 Dec 1893. Both are buried New Valley Grove, Irwin Co. Their children as follows: 1. James H. Roberts b. 1873 2. William M. Roberts b. 9 Nov 1874 d. 2 Nov 1918 3. Boyd Roberts b. 1876 4. Richard Clayton Roberts b. 1 Aug 1880 d. 22 Mar 1940 5. Nancy C. Roberts b. 8 Dec 1882 d. 24 Dec 1896 6. Isaac Roberts b. 23 Aug 1885 d. 28 Dec 1927 7. Ashley L. Roberts b. 19 Jun 1888 d. 26 Jul 1936 8. John G. Roberts b. 23 Jun 1891 d. 9 Sep 1958 William M. is my grandfather. Isaac Roberts was killed by his brother John G. on 28 Dec 1927; he hit him in the head with a hoe after an argument. Hope this helps. Phil
