I am a decendant of Wesley Dorminey who m. Saphronia Hunter, dau. of Elijah Hunter and Penelope Cox. I have the names of James H.'s children etc. but not much else except that James H. is the son of Jonathan Dorminy/Dorminey/Dominy who d. in Laurens Co., GA before 1826. James H. was an orphan and Benjamin Mims was appointed his guardian. I don't have a marriage record either for James H. and Nancy Hester. I feel sure she belongs to the bunch of Hesters in Laurens Co., GA. I wonder if she might have been a widow. There are lots of Nancys in GA and NC but none the right age to have married James H. - at least I have not found one. It is definitely James "H" - a friend went to the Irwin Co. Ct. Hse and looked at documents there and said it is definitely an "H". Laurens Co. legal records re his guardianship also show an "H". If you find anything on Jonathan or on Nancy Hester, I would appreciate hearing from you and if I find anything I will let you know. Barbara
