Have been told her parents might of been Thomas and Rose/Rosa Smith Jewell. I know this couple lived in Irwin County in the 1850's. It has been said that Love Ann was full blood indian. Her father was perhaps a minister or missionary/circuit rider to indians. If he was, then perhaps he took Love Ann in and raised her. Does anyone have any info on the Jewell's of Irwin County?
