Stanfields are well represented in Walterboro, Colleton Co, SC. My Great Great Grandfather was John Malachi Stanfield. His daughter, Henrietta, married Jess Thomas Williams of that city. They moved to Appling Co., Ga, now Jeff Davis after the war of Northern Aggression.
