I just located Martha Hobby Tucker's widow's pension application in Turner County in 1906. It gives her husband Matthew Tucker's death date as 8 Sep 1900 in Irwin County. It also says he died of cancer. I know there are several trees that have not located them after 1880, but search ancestry for "Matthew Tusker" in the 1900 census for Irwin Co., and the Georgia pension applications. Happy hunting... Roxy from Dania,Fl was my Grandmother Blanche Pridgen magruder's sister. At one time Roxy was married to a Sheriff of Dania, when he died she may have remarried. I recall conflict concerning inherited liquor stores or finances, that some male got control of after she was widowed. I was very young, the sheriffs handgun was passed to my Dad, Archie Pridgen Magruder, her nephew. We lived in Jax, in N.Fl then and my older brother David T.
