When researching Houston Co., GA, I use a detailed map of the county, which the Tax Assessor's Office used to give out to the title abstractors. I don't think it is available any longer. Bobbe Nelson's book, A LAND SO DEDICATED, has a hand-drawn map of the Houston Co., GA Land Lots (ca 1900) on pgs. 166-167.
