I am new to the list and hope to get some help. :) I am researching a J. W. Brady and Mamie (could have been May or Mary) Estelle Bryan who were married in Houston County in 1890 according to marriage records. I am trying to confirm if these folks are the parents of my Great-grandmother. They were living in Atlanta by 1893. Joseph W. Brady (also spelled Braddy) died before the 1900 census. In Houston County records I was able to locate a C.S. Bryan who had a daughter named Mary Estelle. After his death, a John Morris was made her guardian. This is quite interesting to me because according to family knowledge of my late great aunt, the last name of my great-grandmother's mother was Morris....(It is possible that everyone assumed she was adopted by Morris).
