    3. Billy, I think that you should approach Rootsweb for your own Web page. Maybe you could post me the materials you want on it, including articles about researching and I could upload them to the web - very simply and then the Houston County page could link to your page. I am sure everyone would agree as to how valuable we find all of your information, whether its the database of Evergreen Cemetery or tips on researching. Someone closer to home might also help you with it, I believe more than one person can work on a web page. The benefit would be you would have copyright on it. Also other Georgia counties could also link to your page, and I am sure they would. We really appreciate all your hard work and sharing your information with us. Please don't apologize for giving us resources and information, you are our own County resource. We all appreciate your generosity. Gaila ----- Original Message ----- From: "William A. Houston County Researchers: For those of you who have already obtained a copy of the Evergreen Cemetery book, I apologize for flooding the Houston-L list with about a dozen large emails yesterday. I sincerely believe that just about anyone who has Houston County roots, will be able to find a connection to someone who is buried at Evergreen Cemetery. By posting this data on the Houston-L list, I am hopeful that the various Rootsweb archives and special retrieval services offered to Rootsweb subscribers, will make it possible for many people to find info about their ancestors. If this data is also posted to a webpage, and then linked from other sites, the info will be even more available to review. One possible attribute would be to have someone take some digital shots of various portions of the cemetery, and include them on the webpage. I've got about 25 good photos of the cemetery, which I took in Fall of 1996, but I would need to scan them. The actual book is 142-pages, but it was in a double-column format. If any of you have printed out the Evergreen Cemetery posts from yesterday, it surely must have been extensive. If you have gleaned any new findings about your ancestors via this data, please let me know. Take care & happy hunting! William A.
