So as not to duplicate efforts, I'm posting this to make those on the list aware that I'm currently in the process of transcribing the 1830 Census, Houston Co., GA. This transcription will be placed on the Houston Co. USGenWeb site and I'll also donate the work to the CGGS to use as they wish. I have also volunteered to transcribe the 1840 census for the project however, the 1830 is going so slowly that if someone else would like to volunteer to do the 1840 let me know.
