According to the census, Maggie was Sallie's only child, and Sallie is living in the house as HEAD next door to Maggie and her family. It seems like Sallie was also known as "Sadie"? Anyway here is a rundown for any that might help: Sallie(Sadie) Johnson born June 1842, in 1900 living as a widow in Abbeville, SC Maggie May Johnson d/o Sallie born April 1880 in 1900 living in Abbeville, SC married to a John Ponder (he is 59 at time, she is 20) with 2 children, John W. 3 Yrs. old and Sallie M. 2 Yrs. old Sallie May d/o Maggie May is my grandmother and she died in 1975. So all you SC Johnson experts out there, do me a favor and see if you have any connections to help me find WHO my Sallie(Sadie) was married to?
