    3. Houston County Researchers: Back in 1997, I published: HOUSTON COUNTY, GEORGIA, EVERGREEN CEMETERY, TOMBSTONE TRANSCRIPTS 1827-1997: Copyright 1997 by William A. Mills. Evergreen Cemetery, located in Perry, Georgia, is one of the largest and most historical cemeteries in the state. A large number of the early pioneer families of Central Georgia have chosen Evergreen Cemetery as their final resting place since 1827. I am now *sold out* of this book. Although I expended over 400 hours transcribing and organizing the information for this publication, I have now decided to distribute it for *free* across the Internet. Actually, I only had 100 copies of the book printed. This publication has also been microfilmed by the LDS, and is available via Microfilm # 2055457. Depending on if there is sufficient interest in this 142-page publication, I could post the *entire* book right here on the Houston-L list. However, it would take several postings to do so. I could insert manual page breaks such as: =====>>> Page 1 =====>>> Page 2 =====>>> That way, you would be able to easily find the 2,200 names that are listed in the index of the book. Take care & happy hunting! _______________________________ William A.
