    3. Houston County Researchers: For those of you who have already obtained a copy of the Evergreen Cemetery book, I apologize for flooding the Houston-L list with about a dozen large emails yesterday. I sincerely believe that just about anyone who has Houston County roots, will be able to find a connection to someone who is buried at Evergreen Cemetery. By posting this data on the Houston-L list, I am hopeful that the various Rootsweb archives and special retrieval services offered to Rootsweb subscribers, will make it possible for many people to find info about their ancestors. If this data is also posted to a webpage, and then linked from other sites, the info will be even more available to review. One possible attribute would be to have someone take some digital shots of various portions of the cemetery, and include them on the webpage. I've got about 25 good photos of the cemetery, which I took in Fall of 1996, but I would need to scan them. The actual book is 142-pages, but it was in a double-column format. If any of you have printed out the Evergreen Cemetery posts from yesterday, it surely must have been extensive. If you have gleaned any new findings about your ancestors via this data, please let me know. Take care & happy hunting! William A.
