    1. [GAHOUSTO] Capt. Smith's roster
    2. Thank you so much for submitting Capt. Smith's Roster! James Bryan and Simon B. Bryan {probably Simeon Baker} on the roster are probably the sons of Reddick Bryan who lived in Houston County during that time period. Simeon B. Bryan died in Calhoun County, GA around 1856. He was first married to Louisa Smith, daughter of Needham Smith, of Houston County in 1838 and later to Elizabeth Mercer of Dawson, GA. James married Alice Mary Wimberly in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. He was born on Feb. 9, 1815 in NC and died on Aug. 24, 1884. He is buried in the Wimberly Cemetery in Bienville Parish, LA. I am sending for pension and bounty land records. I have more information about both of these men on my web pages at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~bryanquinn/index.htm Diana Bryan Quinn Virginia Beach, VA
