Re: Bryans - Houston Co., GA - Creek Indian Wars I am also researching my Bryans from Houston Co., GA and have corresponded with Diane Quinn about our Bryans but have not been able to connect. In the book "First Hundred and Ten Years of Houston Co., GA (1822-1932), it said that there were two companies from Houston Co., GA that marched to Columbus, GA during the Indian War. They left Perry on the 16th or 18th of May 1836 for the Creek Indian Wars and the muster roll of Captain Hugh L Dennard's Cavalry Company includes my Needham Bryan that married Eliza Singleton in 1838 in Houston Co., GA.
