I have been researching Nimrod Jackson, husband of Elizabeth Busby who was the daughter of William Reese Busby. I found Nimrod Jackson on the 1820 U.S. census for the state of S.C., Orangeburg Co. Others by the name of Jackson are listed on the same page with Nimrod, meaning they most likely lived close together. They are: Henry Jackson (age 45 & up), Arthur Jackson (age 45 & up), and John Jackson (age 26-45). Does anyone know if there is a family relationship here? My biggest interest is in Henry Jackson. He was born in 1769 and died Oct. 6, 1858. He married Rachel Busby. She was born in 1773 and died June 4, 1853. They are both buried in the Quattlebaum Family Cemetery. One of their daughters (Hepsey - b. Jan. 17, 1821 - d. Jul 14, 1908) married Thomas Quattlebaum. Are Henry and Rachel the parents of Nimrod? Who were the parents of Rachel?
