    3. James and David Clark were among the first settlers of Houston County according to Central Ga. Genealogical Society, Inc. FIRST 110 YEARS OF HOUSTON COUNTY, GEORGIA, 1822-1932. According to same source, Rev. James Clark was charter member of Henderson Baptist Church constituted 1821. James Clark also private in Powers Rifles, State Troops, Co. C. th. Regiment. No William Francis Clark listed.
