Genealogical Society has held two work days and cleaned at this cemetery. There are many graves there with no apparent markers, just sinks. There are others with damaged markers and lucky enough some that are still in good shape. This project will be a long term one. It is a rather large area and very grown up with the exception of an area in the front of it. If you have family there and would like to help, let us know. We know that there are Thomson, Fretwell, Clark, Holleman (this lot is maintained), Newell (this lot is also maintained), Kemper, Doles, Tucker, Bassett, John, Etheridge, Stantham, O'Neal, and Bartlett family members buried there. If you have information on anyone that is buried in this old cemetery, please e-mail me, we are trying to plat it for future reference. Helen S.
