Brenda First I had better correct one thing I said, (I) "Did see a Holley cemetery near Dooley county border, but that isn't close to < 5TH District >Houston County." That cemetery is in Houston County, but not near Ft Valley. I have checked to see if there were Thomas marriages in Crawford county for them, but didn't see any. I would definitely check to see if they married in Bibb County, as many people were married in Bibb County from FT Valley as opposed to Perry. You would find those marriages in Washington Memorial library and while you were there, I would ask for help looking at local newspapers, because that is so sad and the newspapers would often cover those sad stories. If Nanny wasn't from Houston County, they may have married in her home county. They may have other marriage books in the Washington Memorial library. Since Benjamin married Neoma in Jan 1900, there isn't much chance of finding Nanny on a census, as an adult. Next see if you can find out which church they attended. You might be able to find Nanny on a church role. 1895 from memory was a very depressed time in Houston County, and they may have only had a wooden marker. Any other descendants of this family on the list that could assist?
