The given names of the Finley's in Houston county tht I have found are: James, Elijah, Wealthy/ Welthy, Wealtha, Weltha. My Finley's given names are: Elisha, Wealthy, James, John Henry, Tabitha or Tibitha, and Nancy. They were found in the counties of Baker, Early, Randolph--Georgia; the counties of Coffee and Geneva Counties--Alabama; Walton Co., Florida and several counties in Arkansas by 1880. Any clues appreciated.
Do you have any Baileys in your line? My Baileys were in the same places as your relatives, i.e., Houston and Randolph County and Arkansas. My main familiy moved from Randolph to Winn Parish, La. in 1857.
