"Elijah Cowan was in Henry Co GA in 1830 & 1840 census, according to Ancestry.com." Hi all, Got this message from Barbara... Wondering if anyone has access to the census records for 1830-1850 in Henry or Hall Co. She thinks he may have been in Hall Co earlier... There are at least 3 Elijahs in GA around the same time. One died too early and one was born too late (mine was j-u-u-u-st right!) My Elijah was born ca 1800 in NC? Does this fit with the census info? The later census records show family members--can someone check this to see the family members mentioned? I've checked all the free records at Ancestry.com, but contribute my money to Rootsweb--where things are still free! so I don't subscribe to Ancestry.com All help appreciated! Cyndi in Baltimore
