I am new to the list. Can anyone tell me if there was a census of Henry Co. in 1790 when the census was first taken? Is it posted anywhere on the Internet? I would also like to know if there is any book published on the migration patterns in the late 1700's that I could purchase. Perhaps there is a web site that shows this migration pattern. At this time I believe my early family landed in PA (probably now DE) and later migrated into SC & GA. It is possible they came into Charleston SC too. I now believe it is possible that my GG Grandfather James T. Adair was born in Henry Co. GA in 1790 and his brother William in 1799. What I guess I really need is to study the very early history of GA. Can anyone recommend a good source for this information? Nell Adair Lewis
