I am in search of proof on my Anderson line from Randolph Co., Ala, and the trail has lead me to Charles Mickle who was on 1920 and 1930 Texas, Heard Co. census with wife Alice and children Erin and Jim. Next door is a younger man named Hugh Mickle with wife Nellie and daughters Joyce b. about 1919 and Virginia b abt 1921. Hugh would appear to be son of Charles Mickle. I believe Charles Mickle's mother was Lydia Anderson who married Hugh Mickle (who would be the grandfather of the Hugh Mickle on Heard Co. census). Charley Mickle, b. 1867, is on 1880 Randolph Co., AL census with his sister, Cora, b. 1860, and their parents, Hugh and Lydia Mickle. Lydia's brother was my g-g-grandfather, John Prior Anderson, and their parents were Wesley Anderson (1799-1855) and Frances (Harris) Anderson Mickle (1806-1902). Frances married 2nd James M. Mickle between 1860 and 1870. I believe James Mickle is the father of Hugh Mickle who married Lydia Anderson, dau of Frances and Wesley Anderson. What I need is some proof that John Prior Anderson was the son of Frances. If I could locate someone from the Mickle family, that might give me a clue. Lydia was on 1850 census with her parents while her brother John Prior Anderson had already married and was out of his parents' household. Thanks for even the slightest information. Larealia Camp
