    1. [GAHEARD] Re: TURNER-WORTHAM HISTORY
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: TURNER-WORTHAM Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Bd.2ADE/439.1.1 Message Board Post: I hope you received the pictures of James Madison Turner & Judia Rose Wortham Turner! Judia's parents, William & Lucy are buried at Elim Baptist Church, Coweta Co., GA I haven't taken pictures yet, but will soon. They are the big rock box type. I was just looking over postings again & wondered if you have seen any info on Zachariah Turner (b. abt 1856) brother of Thomas Jefferson Turner. You said TJ Turner & family moved from Coweta Co. GA to Holly Pond AL around 1885. TJ's sister, Lucy Turner Lovelady, also moved (with her family) to Holly Pond around this same time. I found the brother, Zachariah, in the 1910 Coweta Co census living with his other brother JW or "Willie" (my G-grandfather). He was single & 53 years old. Don't know what happened to him after then. Thought he might have moved to the Holly Pond area also. Any info on the other children of James Madison Turner: Mary E. Turner (b. abt 1845) Sarah F. Turner (b. abt 1847) James M Turner, Jr. (b. abt 1862) *In the 1880 Coweta Co census it lists James as being 18 years old, and a teacher. Also, I have the marriage date for James Madison Turner & Judia Rose Wortham as being 11-21-1856. This may be incorrect if their 1st child, Mary E., was born abt. 1845. It sure is time consuming trying to put the pieces of this big puzzle together! I'm hoping other searchers will see this & provide any info they may have....Rhonda
