Candace forwarded me a letter a long time ago about some Thrower that married an Ashley and wanting to know how it fit into our family lines on that side of the family but my grandkids managed to cause that letter to get lost in cyberspace somewhere and I never could remember who the gentleman was that had written it originally. Those days are about over with the grandkids anyway and in the coming days ahead I intend to do something that I wanted to do some six and half years ago when I retired.......do professional research. I've located a 1857 Qualified Voter List for Heard County that I intend to extract from microfilm and either put in booklet form or on a CD. There are other records, too, along with records from the surrounding counties which I intend to transcribe. Perhaps, if time permits, I'll try to see if there is anything in that library on the Thrower family lines. My prima! ry interest in them is because they are on the Thompson / Adams side of my family. Maybe someday the gentleman who inquired about the Thrower / Ashley marriage will write again.
