So you are going to have try other sources, though none will be quite as official. I just received the CSA widow's pension file for Elizabeth A. (Davis) Freeman, widow of Eli Jackson Freeman. In it she states she married E. J. Freeman in 1867 in Randolph Co., AL (Heard's neighbor and also courthouse fire victim). So maybe something like that. Good Luck, Valerie
