So far I've not been able to determine if any of my Thompson kin (other than my grandmother, Minnie Martha Elizabeth Thompson Ashley) migrated to Franklin County, AL along with my grandparents when they moved there somewhere around 1900. Regarding Uncle William (grandmother's brother), I did finally find him only recently. He, along with another brother, moved to Cleburne County, AL where I found them residing in the 1900 census and then shortly thereafter, they both moved on to Texas, settling in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Uncle William is buried out there at Grapevine, a suburb of Dallas.
