If your grandmother was Carrie Walston I beleive you are related to Ray Walston (Herman Raymond Walston b. 12/2/1914 d. 2002) the Actor. Ray had a sibling named Carrie. Ray was born in Laural MS. His Father was Harry Norman Walston (Listed as Harry M. Walston on 1920 Census Jones County Mississippi (1/14/1920), Supervisor District No. 6 Enumeration District No. 86, Sheet 19B Line 86-90 Mother/Father/Harry born in Mississippi). Mettie Walston was his mother. I beleive her maiden name was Kimbrell. Ray's grandfather was Thomas S. Walston (b.1846) Ray's great grandfather was William Walton (b.1812) One of Harry walston's brothers was Charles Arthur Walston (found him on a 1930 (4/12/1930) Census in Orange Texas Supervisor District No. 19 Enumeration District No. 181-4, Sheet 14A Line 14. He is listed as C.A. Walston. It looks like he is living with his wifes family. Wife's name is Leora or Lora. It looks like Wifes maiden name is Reese). My grandfather is also named Ray Walston (Raymond Henry Walston). Hes was suposedly first cousins of Ray walston. That would make my grandfather Carrie's 2nd cousin.
