The Abram Patrick "Ped" Ashley that married Lizzie Arp had several children, but two of those were girls who were twins: Zebba & Zuma. I had always wondered where their names came from and now I know it must have been from the Daniel side of the family. I've never known what happened to those girls or who they married and if they had children of their own. Ped Ashley was the son of my grandfather's brother, William Ashley. My grandfather was Reuben Ashley Jr. He and Uncle William Ashley married Thompson sisters. Grandpa married the youngest child of Abraham Thompson & Martha Elizabeth "Patsy" Adams Thompson and Uncle William married grandmother's older sister, Sarah Ann E. Thompson. Course there is another link there within the Thompson family since one of John Anderson Daniel's sons also married a Thompson girl.
