Valerie, Yes, I think we have. I don't know where you get all your information from that you submit to the Ga website but it has been absolute priceless to me. Between you and Judy Kilgore's column and many others, I have collected so much information.None of hubby's Simonton cousins are interested in genealogy but I have have found a 3rd cousin of his, David Rogers, from another line that I am corresponding to as a result of something he submitted to USGenweb. (Information from the Wood Family Bible) I think this is one of the most fascinating things I have ever done. Just wish I had started sooner. Didn't start til about 3 years ago. Thanks for the offer of a copy of Asa's pension papers. Will be happy to contribute to the cost. Smith, husband of his great grand aunt, Caroline Elizabeth Miller. His Asa was born 9 Feb 1839 in Oglethorpe Co, Georgia and died 30 Jan 1911. He is buried in Olive Branch Cemetery. Is this your Asa? Is there a cost to getting his pension papers.
