Arrington, W. A. Ridley are held and firmly bound and obliged unto the Honorable the Ordinary of said County for the time being and his successors in office in the sum of Three Thousand Dollars to be paid to the said Ordinary his successors in office or assigns for which payment will and truly to be made and now we bind ourselves jointly and severally and each of our heirs, executors and administrators firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated at Franklin, Ga the 6th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand and nine hundred (1900). The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Charles J. Arrington administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of Isham Arrington deceased do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Charles J. Arrington or in the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made to exhibit in the Court of Ordinary of said County when he shall be thereunto required and such goods, chattels and credits do well and truly administer according to law and make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein when required by the Superior Court or the Ordinary for said County. And all the rest of the goods chattels and credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said Administrator the paid bring first allowed by the said Court shall deliver and pay to such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law. And if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased and the same be proved before the Court and the execution obtain a certificate of the probate thereof and the said Charles J. Arrington do in such case if required -?- and deliver up the said letters of Administration then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force. Arrington as principal and W. A. Sheats security are held and firmly bound unto Robt. G. Crain Ordinary of said County and to his successors in office in the sum of four hundred dollars to the payment of which will and truly to be made we bind ourselves and heirs, executors and administrators of us and each of us firmly by these presents. Subscribed with our hands and sealed with our seals this 22nd day of June 1900. The condition of the above bond on obligation is such that whereas the above bound Charles J. Arrington has this day applied to the said Robt. G. Crain Ordinary for and has obtained temporary letters of administration of the goods and chattels, rights and credits of Isham Arrington, deceased. Now if the above bound Charles J. Arrington shall carefully collect and preserve from wastes on loss all the goods and chattels and effects of the said Isham Arrington deceased, and shall make on cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all such estate and the same being so preserved, so surrender up such estate and effects with the inventory aforesaid unto the legal and proper Administration on or by the first Monday in September next or so soon thereafter as the Ordinary shall direct with all his other actings and doings therein, then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force of law. Trammell as Principal and H.H. Davis, J.E. Mooty, I.B. Adams and E.E. Turner are bound unto T.M.Awbrey, Ordinary of said County and his successors in office in the sum of eight Hundred Dollars for the payment which we bind outselves our heirs and assigns jointly and severally. Signed, sealed and delivered this 27th day of March 1917. The condition of the above bond is such: that if the said W.P. Trammell the Natural Guardian of his children Lewis P. Lewis as Principal and L.F. Davis and J.E. Lane and W.R. Combs as Securities are held and firmly bound into the Ordinary for said County and his successors in office and assigns in the just and full sum of Ten Thousand Dollars for the payment of which sum to the said Ordinary and his successors in office, we and ourselves our heirs executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole sum jointly and severally and firmly by these presents. Hester, wife of Allen Hester of Heard County, Georgia Georgia, Heard County To the Ordinary of said County The Petition of Armitta E. Hester, wife of Allen Hester of said County shows that her husband Allen Hester resides in said Heard County and that he is the head of a family consisting of himself, your Petitioner and two minor children to wit: Carrie Hester thirteen years old the 31st day of next July; Allen Hester nine years of age the 14th day of last January. Jones - Deceased State of Georgia - Heard County Last will and testament of Winston W. Jones I Winston W. Jones being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament hearby revoking all wills heretofore made by me. Item 1 - I wish my executors as soon as possible after my death to pay my debts. If a sale of property shall become necessary I wish them to select for sale and to see that which in their opinion can be most advantageously used for that purpose and I authorize them to sell some at public or private sale as they may see fit. Item 2 - I wish that after the payment of my debts as provided in item first, my beloved wife Kansas Jones have all the residue of my property real personal and of every kind for and during her material life and that at her death the same shall be equally divided among my children to wit: Elizabeth Knopp, Alfred N. Hogan, wife of William Hogan of said State and County, being of sound mind and memory and desiring to give devotion to the disposition of my property after my death, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other former Wills by me at any time previously made. My soul I commit to God who gave it, my body I give to christian burial. My worldly goods I dispose of as follows: Item 1. That all my just debts be paid as soon as may be especially two notes give by myself and husband to Martha L. Hogan and Elizabeth M. Edge deeming interest from the 1st year of their ages. The same being to make them equal to legacies given to my other children as they became of age. The Statutes of limitations not to be counted against them. Item 2. I bequeath and give to my faithful and loving husband William Hogan the remainder of my entire estate both real and personal property to use as he has need of and as he chooses during his lifetime. Item 3. It is my Will that at the death of my husband his body shall have a christian burial. Item 4. The portion of my property both real and personal that is left after the death of my husband shall be divided equally among my now living six children as follows: To my daughter Georgia A. Walton and her bodily heirs one sixth; To my son W.J. Hogan and his bodily heirs one sixth; To my son Robert T. Hogan and his bodily heirs one sixth; To my son Ben A. Hogan and his bodily heirs one sixth; To my daughter Martha L. Hogan one sixth; To my daughter Elizabeth M. Edge and her bodily heirs one sixth. And should any of the aforesaid children of mine mentioned in this Will die leaving no bodily heirs then their distribution shall herein set forth or any remaining part thereof shall revert bck as part of my estate to be equally divided among my bodily heirs. Item 5. If any one or more of my heirs shall make or cause to be made any effort to set aside this Will by legal or otherwise the same shall thereby forfeit their interest set forth herein and their said interest shall revert back to my estate to be equally divided among those not taking any part in the litigation. Item 6. I hereby nominate and appoint my three sons Wm. J. Hogan, Robt T. Hogan, Benjamin A. Hogan executors without being required to give bond for their faithful performance of this trust. Will of John Daniel, Dec'd Georgia, Heard County In the name of God Amen, I, John Daniel of said County and State being of sound and disposing mind and memory, for the purpoe of disposing of my worldly affairs, do make, ordain and publish this as my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made. Item 1st. My soul I command to God who gave it and I direct my body to be buried in a decent and christianlike manner. Item 2nd. I direct that my debts be paid as soon after my decease as circumstances under the law will permit. Item 3rd. I Will, bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Dovey for her sold separate use and for her occupation and maintenance during her natural life my Mill on New River and forty acres of land whereon it is situated, the toll rents and all income from said Mill to belong to and be the property of my said wife Dovey. I also in like manner give to my said wife the settlement of land whereon I now live with the Mill thereon situated and all the rent tolls income and profits of said lands and Mills are likewise hereby given and belong to my said wife. That portion or part of said last named lands that my four sons Isham J., Edwin, John and Jas. L. Daniel shall cultivate shall be to them free from rent. My said wife is to have her control of forty acres of cleared land on the West side of the Chattahoochee River and all of the cleared land on the East side of said river, all of which is hers to use, rent and control during her natural life together with the income from my Mill situated in said premises as aforesaid. At the death of my said wife, I will and devise and bequeath all of said lands and Mills above mentioned to my said four sons, Isham, Edwin, John and James share and share alike. Item 4th. I give, bequeath and devise to my three daughters, Betty, Piety and Dovey my settlement of land near St. Cloud in said County known as my old home place containing about nine hundred acres to be theirs absolutely from and after my death share and share alike. I also give to each of my said three daughters a good horse. I further direct that in the event either of my said daughters should die without issue her or their portion of the above said lands shall go to and belong to the survivors of said three daughters or their issue. Item 5th. I direct that my said four sons named in the 3rd item of this Will have also a pine lot of land I own near the John Crosby place which makes the Mill lands on the Chattahoochee River contain about eleven hundred acres of land. Should either of my said sons die without issue then their portion of all the lands given then shall go to the survivors of said four sons or their heirs share and share alike. Item 6th. I will and bequeath unto my son-in-law Wm. Jones a lot of land No. two hundred and eighty five in the twelfth district originially Troup now said County of Heard. Item 7th. I will and devise to my daughter Delilah Harris and to her and her children for their use, occupation and benefit two thousand dollars or land to that value, said amount of money or land to my said daughter and her children free from the debts or contracts of her present or future husband. And should I in my lifetime buy ? for my said daughter the land above comtemplated then at my death this clause of my will to be inoperative and void. Item 8th. All the balance of my property and estate not above enumerated and not necessary to raise the two thousand dollars above mentioned for my daughter Delilah, should it be necessary to raise that sum, I give and bequeath and devise to my said wife Dovey to give off and dispose of to her children as she may think proper and after her death whatever remains of said property to be equally divided between all of my children share and share alike. Thomaston has this day affieved to the said T.M. Awbrey, Ordinary for and has obtained Temporary Letters of Administration of the goods and chattels rights and credits of J. Norwood deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said J.E. Thomaston or on the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same made to exhibit the same in Court of Ordinary of said county when he shall be thereunto required and such goods, chattels and credits do will and truly administer according to law and make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein when required by the Superior Court or the Court of Ordinary for said County. And all the rest of the goods, chattels and credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said Administration the same being first allowed by the said Court shall deliver and pay to such person respectively as are entitled to the same by him. And if it shall hereafter appear that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased the same be proven before the Court and the Executor obtain a certificate of probate thereof and the said J.E. I wish my two sisters who are now residing on my place to have a home during their lives there on my place and it is my wish that my boys see after them as they ought, and my wife to be my executrix and my estate not to be further administered upon than to set up this my Will.
