Hi, Kathleen, My gggrandfather was REV. WILLLIAM NELSON SNELL who lived in Harris/Muscogee from 1843-1869. In the Barfield book there's a reference to a marriage between a Mrs. Mary Snell and a W.P.? Downs in 1866. We don't know who this Mary Snell is or whether she's a part of our branch. Do you have any info? Many thanks.
