I'm looking for information on WELDONS in Harris County area around 1840. Specifically, I've found the following census listing for Harris County 1840: HARRIS COUNTY, GA JEFFERSON COUNTY, GA #267 James Weldon 1 male under 5 2 males 15-20 1 male 40-50 2 females under 5 2 females 5-10 2 females 10-15 1 female 15-20 1 female 30-40 My ancestor, Nancy Weldon, may be one of these children but I can not tell for sure.
