J.C. Southerland 1. Your First Cousin, Is your Aunt's or Uncle's Child... However a first cousin's child is NOT your second cousin, but your first cousin once removed...His child is your first cousin twice removed. His in turn, your first cousin three times removed... 2. Your Second Cousin is your Mother or Father's first cousin's child. That second cousin's child is your second cousin's once moved. His child is your second cousin twice removed and so on to the third removed,etc. 3. Third Cousin? It’s your Great-Grandparents brother's or Sister's great grandchild...The third cousin's child is your third cousin once removed...His child is your third cousin twice removed... 4.Sibling: having parents in common. Brothers and sisters are siblings... 5. Great-Aunt or Great Uncles: the sister or brothers of your Grandparents. Great Grand-Aunt or Uncle are the Sister's or Brothers of your Great Grandparents. 6.Ancestor: A person from whom you descend "Directly", such as a Grandparent or Great Grandparents. 7. Descendants: Any person who descends directly" from you, such as a grandson or great Granddaughter... The cousin part can mess your head up trying to figure it out...but a lot of fun...
