Duke Log House off Duke Road in Hamilton, GA as an addition to the National Register of Historic Places in the Chattahoochee Valley of AL and GA. According to a rough map, Duke Road is off Barnes Mill Road. To get to Duke Road, if you were in downtown Hamilton going to Duke Road, would you have to pass by the old elementary school and Hamilton Cemetery? I know some locations in the area, but I do not know names of the roads. I have a family reunion at Davis Lake in Pine Mountain Sunday and would like to drive by the House. If my locations are correct, I visited family there as a child. Several of the homes in the area (middle 60's) still had outdoor plumbing - including my grandmother, Dora Evans home which was adjacent to the Duke property. kemis
