Hello List, Just wanted to say that I ran across a great book in my public library. It's called History of Harris County, Georgia, 1827-1961, by Louise Calhoun Barfield. The only problem with it is that it's not indexed. I covered it page by page and found burial places for many of my ancestors. This was no easy task since it's over 400 pages. The churches and cemeterys of the county are described and then followed by a complete listing of those who are burried there. (of course it only goes up to 1961) It has been invaluable to me. I've tried to locate a copy for myself but suppose that the printing company is out of business. It was printed in USA by The Columbus Office Supply Co., Columbus, GA. If anyone knows where I might find a copy I'd really appreciate being notified. The one in the public library here, in Gwinnett County, Georgia, is literally falling apart. I've tried to buy it from the library, but of course that wasn't allowed. Thanks, Sheila
