I recently discovered that my missing McCarter Ancestor was Alexander H. McCarter (b abt 1854) from Harris Co. GA. He is supposed to be mentioned in the History of Harris co. book at least twice. I think on pages 153 and 77. Would someone who has this book please be kind enough to check for information on him in this book. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Cari Spano Girard, OH
