The response of Adrienne at yogagolf@aol.com-- I believe that the above is the correct name of the book and of the author. I do own the first edition, third printing, dated 1961 (for which I paid a hefty price a few years ago) and I also own the accompanying index which is a necessity. The Index book was indexed by the grand-daughter of Mrs. Barfield (Frances Pauline Hammett of Columbus GA) and was printed in 1991. In the front of both books it is stated "All Rights reserved. No part of this book may be reproduced in any form or by any means for any purpose........." In other words, they are copyrighted. I would be happy to do "look-ups" on a limited basis so just email me and enter "Harris Co. GA with your surnames" in the subject line. An addenda: The Harris Co. GA surnames I am researching include: SAMUEL SMITH HUEY and SARAH/SALLY HAGINS and the families into which their children married. These marriages would include: WRIGHT, FORSYTH(E), WATSON, NELSON, BANKSTON (my direct line), WILLIAMS, GOODMAN, and TEAL/TEEL. The time frame would be from the 1820's onward. Adrienne P.S. To scalawag - your Greenbery Waldrop is mentioned but three times in the book.
