Do the names of the roads go back to 1827-1840? The map shows McDaniel Road is off 85 My gr gr grandpapa owned 202 1/2 acres. Milner -cross Road was mention. Harris County Map shows in thick black letters 95.(District 95 now) in the deed books the land is listed District 22 lot 221. My gr gr grandpapa used to own the land there he won in the 1827 Georgia Lottery. In the Deed Book. Grantee: Waldrop and the Grantor: William Copeland. I would just like to see the area and walk the land where my gr gr grandpapa lived for 13 years while he was in Harris County, Georgia. My 13 years of my gr grandpapa's life was spent in Harris County an uncle was born in Harris County. I would just love to know the area and bring my grandchildren and take pictures in the same area. Rev. Green Berry Waldrop helped constitute many Baptist Churches all over Harris County. He belonged to the Baptist Presbytery, 18271840. He traveled with C.C. Willis and James Perryman.
