Hello, June 9th, 2002 I have been researching the history of Pernell Truett and his son William P. Truett who settled in the Whitesville area of Harris County, Georgia. Purnell about 1827 and William P. about the middle of 1830. I found a reference in a book by The Daughters of the Confederacy stating they had placed a Confederate Marker on the grave of a Truett soldier in " The Old Truett Family Cemetery located one and a half miles north of Antioch Baptist Church. If anyone can help me find this cemetery I would be deeply grateful I would like to have a census of all buried and any inscriptions. My Great Great Grandfather was John Henry Truett b.12-23-1823 in Newton County, Ga. d.12-13-1901 in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama he was the son of William P.
