I have made several changes to the Harris Co GenWeb site. TO SUBMIT CEMETERY RECORDS I am no longer using the Query Express system for cemetery record submissions. If you would like to submit transcribed cemetery records, please put them in text format (*.txt) or in MSWord format (*.doc) and either place them in an email or attach them to an email and send them to me. It is preferred that family members be grouped together if they were buried in the same lot. If possible, include directions to the cemetery or an address. Please let me know if you are submitting an entire cemetery or part of one. If anyone lives in the Harris County area who would be willing to transcribe data for a cemetery, please let me know. I have placed a Cemetery Records selection on the chart on the front page and also on the records index page. QUERIES & SURNAMES I have removed the old queries and surnames from the site. Many of the email addresses were no longer valid. Also, the GenConnect System makes the old query and surname pages no longer necessary. You will need to resubmit your queries to GenConnect if you had them only on the old pages. I am still maintaining the old records pages (wills, deeds, Bible records, etc) and will continue to do so.
