I am trying to locate a cemetery that was listed in the History of Harris County by Mrs. Barfield. It was listed on page 523 and several names, including my gggrandmother, Elizabeth Reeves, wife of W.S. Reeves, were listed in this cemetery. It is suppose to be on hwy 116 going into Hamilton. The church stood near the cemetery, was abandoned and later moved to Mountain Hill. We have made the trip to Hamilton from both sides of 116 and even took a side road trying to locate this. No one at the courthouse, library, or police department was able to help. I know it must be there, just in a hidden place. If anyone can give me directions, I will greatly appreciate it.
